Morning Hike

8:30 am - 11:00 am

Walking shoes, running shoes or boots for the trail. Wear layers in case it is foggy.

There are a few options for this hike. 1) Out and Back to Tennessee Beach on Tennessee Valley Fireroad. 3.4 miles. Little pavement, mostly dirt fireroad. Relatively flat. Play on the beach and swim (Brrrr!). 2) Hike on the Tennessee Valley Trail, then start climbing up on Coastal Trail (fireroad). Beautiful views of the Pacific Ocean and the coastal bluffs. Long hike up and then down Fox Trail (fireroad) to join back up with Tennessee Valley Trail and back. 4.0 miles 3) For fast hikers or runners: Tennessee Valley trail to Tennessee Beach. Start back the same way but get on Coastal Trail and do the same loop as above. Estimate about 5.0 miles.
