There will be an open bar for guests to enjoy throughout cocktail hour and the reception, however, we do recommend bringing cash or a credit card along if you plan to attend the after-party, as drinks after the reception will not be covered.
Most of the evening will be spent outdoors as long as the weather cooperates. The only time we will be indoors is for dinner. The ceremony, cocktail hour, and dancing will take place on the back lawn and patio. Guests will walk to the lawn on paved pathways, but will need to step on grass briefly to take their seats. For that reason, stiletto or otherwise-thin heels are not recommended.
There will be snacks offered during cocktail hour, but make sure to save room for our large selection of offerings at the buffet for dinner. Coffee and pastries to follow for dessert.
Yes, we will have a shuttle service that will leave the Inn at Middletown at 5pm, arriving to Wadsworth Mansion by 5:10pm. There will also be a shuttle from the mansion at 11:10pm back to the inn. Cars can also be left at the mansion overnight but have to picked up by noon the following day!
