As we get closer to our wedding date we wanted to provide an update on our wedding. We're working with our venue on what our options are going to be for our wedding date as we currently still don’t know because California is currently under a regional stay-at-home order until COVID cases decrease, and regulations are lifted. It's looking positive for the Bay Area (our numbers are less than half of Southern California) and the stay-at-home order is expected to be lifted for our area in about 2 weeks for approval to resume outdoor dining. As a result of current state guidelines for weddings, we are looking at a reduced capacity (currently looking at a maximum of 75 people - could be as low as 25 people) and unfortunately will not be able to extend invitations to all whom we sent a save-the-date. You were sent a save-the-date because of how important you are to us and the impact you've had on us. While we would love to celebrate the start of this new adventure with everyone, we also know there will be opportunities in the future to celebrate other important life moments. We will be sending formal invitations at the end of February to those we are able to invite and will also send an email update on the current venue COVID guidelines, so you can plan accordingly. We'll also post updates to our wedding website as frequently as possible to keep you informed.

Karin and Mike first met in San Francisco back in April 2016 through John Krippinger (Mike’s old roommate from Wisconsin) and Tina Rotolo (Karin’s roommate in SF) at Off the Grid, a night time weekly food truck event. Regardless of their professional sports affiliations, Karin being a Bears and Cubs fan and Mike being a Packers and Brewers fan, they immediately hit it off. After several dates, urban hikes (what we call walking throughout San Francisco usually in search of open tennis courts), trips to wine country and breweries, trips around the world (Mexico, Jamaica, Lisbon, Munich for Oktoberfest, Prague, Budapest, Vienna, Paris, Brussels, Florence, Cinque Terre, Rome), Mike finally popped the question on September 20th, 2019 at a winery outside of Florence, Italy. We're so excited to share this special day with you and we look forward to dancing the night away with all of our favorite people!
