The Path of the Lemons

The Path of the Lemons

3.5 km - easy to medium difficulty - 1-2 hour duration An ancient trail used to transport lemons between the towns of Maiori and Minori, it is said to be an easier hike than the Path of the Gods, yet equally as beautiful. This hike offers a perfect combination of breathtaking landscapes, local history, and the intoxicating scent of the traditional terraced lemon groves. These groves are where the famous Amalfi "sfusato" lemon is grown. This particular local variety of citrus fruit is also used to produce the famous limoncello liqueur and some traditional Amalfi Coast desserts such as delizia al limone. This hike can be started or end in Ravello, the most difficult section is said to be between Ravello and Minori. You can opt for a guided tour or navigate the hike on your own.
