FAQs

Question

What is the dress code for the wedding?

Answer

Whatever makes you feel fierce and fabulous! Semi-formal attire will be just fine.

Question

I’m driving/flying/traveling a super long way for this wedding. Can my presence count as my presents?

Answer

Absolutely! We know that a lot of you are traveling a long way to be with us, and your presence alone is the greatest gift we could ask for!

Question

Will there be child care provided?

Answer

No, but please feel free to bring your small people!

Question

Should I come hungry?

Answer

Absolutely. Hors d’oeuvres will be served during the cocktail hour and dinner and dessert will be provided.

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

There will be a limited open bar (wine, beer, and soft drinks) during cocktail hour, and should you wish to purchase additional beverage items during that time you may. Wine will be served with dinner. After dinner, the bar will be open but as a cash bar. Please plan accordingly and bring cash and/or a flask should you so desire.

Question

Should I plan on making a weekend of this?

Answer

Western Massachusetts in the fall is absolutely gorgeous and I would definitely recommend spending the weekend if you can. There are plenty of fun things to do, from hiking and apple picking to visiting historic towns. The Clark Art Institute has exquisite works on display, the Chapin Library of Rare Books and Manuscripts houses rare editions of the Declaration of Independence and the Articles of Confederation, and Mount Greylock and Natural Bridges State Park offer great outdoor scenery and hiking opportunities.

Question

Will there be dancing?

Answer

Absolutely. Come prepared with your dance floor A-game.
