We want you to look amazing too, just think of all the photo opportunities! With a backyard wedding, we are suggesting 'outdoor chic'. The event is dressed up but not overly formal. For the gentlemen, jackets are suggested but suits are not required. For the ladies, consider bringing a layering piece for bare shoulders in case the temperature drops and reconsider those stiletto heels — they won't get along with the grass in the yard.
As you may have learned, there are limited options for lodging around our beautiful country home. Don't fret, you can still find the perfect little retreat! Try searching Airbnb or VRBO in or around these towns: Upper Black Eddy (zip 18972), Erwinna, Frenchtown, Stockton, Lambertville, New Hope, and Doylestown. There should also be hotels with a few remaining rooms in the area. If you are really not having any luck, let us know, and we can offer some further guidance.
We love all the kids in our life. However, we are limiting the number of kids at the wedding. If we haven't already specifically invited your little ones, we'll look forward to seeing them another time.
We're asking guests to park at the state park next door, Tinicum Park. There is a lot right behind the big red barn which is conveniently located next to our backyard. We'll have signs out to help you find the way. (Note: there will likely be another wedding taking place at the barn ;)
We love LOVE. But we have a small wedding party. No plus ones. Womp womp.
We want you to eat and drink and dance and love. If you have special culinary requests, please shoot us an email or text, and we will make sure you have a yummy dinner option.
Welcome to the country! There is limited to non-exsistent local taxi service. We are still trying to find some options for you. Unfortunately for now, plan on carpooling to the max or drawing straws for a DD who gets all the hugs at the end of the night.
We can't wait to see the experience of our wedding through your lens. That said, we want you all present during the ceremony and request that you refrain from using your phones/cameras. The remainder of the event is a free-for-all of silly, special, loving, dancey, magical moments to capture on the device of your choice. Feel free to post to social media of your liking; our wedding hashtag is #mikeandhunter.
We'll start the ceremony promptly at 5:00 pm. Please plan accordingly and arrive between 4:30 and 4:45 pm. NO late passes for the main event, we are hoping to see every single one of your faces in the crowd.
