Unless you're new here, you are well aware of the Santen Family's obsession with hockey. It all started on March 24th, 2018 when Haley and her friend Elise decided to buy last minute Blues tickets with the hopes of getting into one of the clubs where Elise's fiancé was bartending. They were waiting at the bottom of the escalator when the club manager came down to escort them up. That club manger...was Mike! They went up and immediately sat down at the bar, then got up to get some food. When Haley returned, there was a business card sitting by her vodka soda. It read "Michael Vaccaro - Senior Premium Manager". A few drinks later she decided to send him a text, and he came up to officially meet her for the first time. They talked off and on all evening, and by the end of the game they had a dinner date set for the following night. Of course she woke up the next morning deciding there was no way she was going on a date with a stranger she met at a hockey game. But sure enough, she met him at Bella Milano for their very first date, and the rest is history!

On March 29th 2024, Haley and Mike were on their way to dinner for a random weekend date night. Haley had recently mentioned there was some Blues gear she wanted from the team store, but she had asked Mike to get it for her using his discount. On the way to dinner, Mike asked if she wanted to stop into Enterprise and buy what she needed. At this point, Haley had no idea a proposal was in her near future. They parked at the security entrance and went inside. When Mike suggested they go down on the ice for a photo, Haley knew he was up to something! A couple minutes later on center ice, Mike was down on one knee, asking her to marry him. Mike's brother and fiance were hiding on the bench recording the entire thing!
