The ceremony will begin at 11:00 AM. We suggest arriving at 10:00 AM so you can comfortably park, get out to Shoshone Point, and settle in.
After the ceremony, the bridal party and family will take pictures nearby. Guests are encouraged to stick around to mingle and take in the views. Some light refreshments and snacks will be provided under the pavilion at Shoshone Point.
Yes! We will provide dinner (indoors) at Grand Canyon Brewing + Distillery in Flagstaff. Refer to the Schedule tab for location and timing.
Semi-formal to dressy casual. The ceremony is outside and we are anticipating a high of 70 degrees. However, the South Rim sits at an elevation of 7,000 feet and the weather can behave unpredictably. Please dress comfortably!
Yes, you have to pay for admission into Grand Canyon National Park. The standard day pass allows access to everyone in a single vehicle for seven days and includes both the North and South Rims. The standard America the Beautiful pass allows access for one year and includes every National Park, Monument, etc. These and additional pass types are available at all Grand Canyon National Park entrance stations. The Shoshone Point trailhead has a very small parking lot followed by a one mile, flat walk to the venue. There is no immediate parking available at the venue. You are welcome to park at the trailhead, but parking spots will fill quickly. We will provide a private shuttle from the Visitor Center to the venue. Please refer to the Parking tab for more details.
Yes, but it is limited to a composting toilet without running water. It's not an outhouse or even a port-o-potty, but a physical toilet that can convert solid waste into compost. We will provide a hand washing station to sanitize and clean hands.
Yes, but please no flash photography! We have hired a photographer and plan to share the wonderful photos taken by her with everyone.
Due to permitting regulations, seating will be limited to the picnic tables and benches provided by the National Park Service.
