We're getting married!

We met through work and, after a year of dating, we decided to move in together. Our joke is that we moved in and then could never leave each other because immediately we were locked down due to the pandemic. Fortunately, we discovered we live well together and soon after decided to adopt a puppy, start Airbnbing the mother-in-law suite in our backyard, and the rest is history.

When Dianne was attending a virtual bridal shower, Mike sneakily went to her parents to ask their permission. When he arrived, they greeted him with "Do you want a bloody mary now or after our chat." -- obviously before. He planned to propose during a trip Dianne's family was taking to New Orleans for her dad's birthday, however after one of the most amazing Blue Angels Saturdays ever, he proposed in our house. Truly, it was the best day ever. We celebrated with champagne at Dianne's parent's after.
