Are kids welcome?

We love your kids—we really do. But we want our wedding to be your night off!

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

There is no provided transportation, everything in downtown Portsmouth is walkable and so we would like you to park upon arrival and plan to walk to the AC Hotel or use their valet parking.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

The ceremony location will be outdoors at Strawbery Banke Museum located in the Goodwin Garden. Please arrive prior to 5pm to take your seats; the ceremony itself will begin promptly at 5pm. Parking is not allowed in the museum lot, so please plan ahead to have enough time to find parking. There is a lot of street parking available nearby as well as two parking garages (Hanover Street Garage and Foundry Place Garage). The other option would be to park at your hotel or by the AC Hotel and walk to the ceremony location and walk back to the cocktail hour; the walk is approximately 0.8 miles ( about 15-18 minutes). If weather does not permit us to be outdoors then please plan to attend the ceremony at the same location as the cocktail hour and reception which is the third floor of the AC hotel in downtown Portsmouth (also known as "The Envio"). In this case, please park using their valet, or at your hotel or in a public parking lot near the AC Hotel.

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Given we are accelerating our wedding there are no save the dates! You should have already received an electronic invitation to your email which you can use to respond to us by Friday September 10th.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Please see the travel tab but remember to check Airbnb and that other surrounding towns and areas can be great places to stay for a long weekend as well: Ogunquit Maine, York Maine, Kittery Maine, Rye NH and Hampton NH.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive around 4:30pm so you can take your seat before we begin at 5pm.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Cocktail or Formal attire is requested, but we want you to feel comfortable, so if those shoes are too high or that top button is too tight, let it all hang loose.
