The Summer Parking Permit: If you drive your own vehicle and park at the Exit 31 lot (off I-84) between 9:00 AM and 6:00 PM from late May through early September, you need a timed-use parking permit. This permit is free but carries a $2 reservation fee on Recreation.gov. Off-Peak Hours: Outside of the summer peak season, or before 9:00 AM / after 6:00 PM, parking at Exit 31 is completely free and no permit is required.
