California cocktail attire is a relaxed, and colorful take on traditional semi-formal wear, blending elegance with West Coast ease. It emphasizes breathable fabrics, light or vibrant colors, and comfortable footwear suitable for indoor/outdoor venues. For men: Lighter fabric suits. Blazer/sport coat combo with chinos or dress pants. Loafers. Tie & pocket squares optional. For women: Dresses in light, breathable fabric; jumpsuits; or skirt/trouser set with a top. Sharp stilettos may be uncomfortable on grass.
