Sammy walked Ashley to Mike the first time they ever met! Now he walks her down the aisle!
Officiant
Long time family friend of Ashley, there are few people kinder and more beautiful in spirit then "Mrs. Furgerson". Mrs. Furgerson says that Mike and Ashley have always been well-suited to each other. It was clear from the beginning that they both have a wonderful sense of adventure and joie de vivre, that is unmatched.
Maid of Honor
Ashley’s sister and best friend. Tracy’s favorite memory is back when they were little. Tracy was about 6 and at an ice skating competition, Ashley was 2.5. When Tracy finished her routine Ashley got so excited that she cheered, “Go away sissy! Go away!” Instead of “way to go!”

"I've known Mike since the 3rd grade and our friendship has evolved and grown in so many ways over the last 25 years but when I think back on our friendship I think about the countless adventures we would go on as kids. Every weekend for what seemed like years we would go outside, point in a direction, and ride our bikes as far as we could. One day we were riding and stopped to get some food at Jack and the Box somewhere in what I believe to be Mountain View or Palo Alto. After eating we walked outside and noticed a moving van with a map of the Bay Area on it. Now to our eyes San Francisco looked like it was the next city over and we could get there in 20 minutes. So we decided, "let's do it". I should point out that at this time we are riding BMX bikes and we're either 12 or 13. Anyways, we ride for hours and hours having no idea where we are until we find out we are in South San Francisco. I think we both felt like we accomplished some great feat until I got a call from my dad who told me that dinner was in 5 minutes and to come home. Mike and I looked at each other with a little panic, realizing how far we actually roade that day and how long it took. I'm not sure whose idea it was but we found Caltrain and pooled our money together to get two tickets back to Santa Clara and made it back before it was fully dark. Safe to say we didn't make the 5 minute deadline my dad set!
Bridesmaid
Mike’s sister. Her favorite memory of Mike is when they were little and the house was being remodeled. They were playing hopscotch in the wooden grid that was set up. Their mom told them to stop because they could get hurt. They didn’t, of course, and Kayla fell and got a good scrape. To this day Kayla still has the scar!

“I’ve gotta say my most fondest memory of Mike was one of the many days we went out fishing with the boys, it was your typical Tuesday afternoon and none of us had a Dammn thing to do, so we packed up and went out to Lexington reservoir. As we get out to the lions den as we called it, trying to go for the triple crown as usual. First one to hook a fish was Mike. I’m thinking to my self it must be a fluke. No way Mike caught a fish before Willie or I. We spend the next two hours at the same spot and no one other than Mike caught a fish there. As we head to our next and final spot; there goes Mike rushing down to get the first cast. And what do you know he catches the tiniest of fish first cast, going 2 for 3 so far he was on fire…. We never ended up going to the last stop for the triple crown because Willie and I were too stubborn to get skunked twice in a row. Little did all of us know he ended up catching a very beautiful fish named Ashley.”

Hannah is basically a sister to both Tracy and Ashley! One of Hannah's favorite stories of Ashley is the classic takedowns Ashley and Tracy used to get into. She can still picture Ashley about to elbow slam Tracy into the living room floor.

One of the funniest memories I have of Mike is when we went to a house party in San Francisco, and after a night of drinking I wake up to see Mike, sleeping like a baby, with a toilet paper roll as his pillow. I was both shocked and impressed by the ingenuity and resourcefulness. Note to self: Toilet paper rolls can make good impromptu pillows. This memory has stuck with me for almost 15 years.
