These pictures were taken in Michigan at Bair Lake Bible Camp, a place with deep family roots, as my great-grandfather was one of its founders.

I used to come and sit on this bench every year for Thanksgiving and pray for my future husband. Now I sit here thanking God with the man I’m going to marry. God is so good!

This is the gazebo the camp built in honor of Grandpa Petke, with his favorite phrase, ‘Praise the Lord.’
