This airport is the closest - 45 minute ride North to our house- though quite limited in airlines. Not sure what the rental car situation is. It's also 60 miles north of NYC.

This airport is next closest and while small, very easy! It's 70 miles North of our house and easy to rent cars from too. This is our preferred airport to fly in and out of unless we get lucky with SWF.

HPC (Westchester County Airport in White Plains)

86 miles southest of us, medium sized airport that is much easier to fly in and out of then the big 3 NYC airports - plenty of car rental options. It's about 30 miles north of Manhattan

EWR (Newark Airport)

Unless staying in NYC before or after the wedding, this is the best of the 3 NYC airports. It's 100 miles southeast of us.

LGA (LaGuardia Airport)

On the north side of Queens with lovely views of Riker's Island, it's 6 of one and half a dozen of the other between flying in and out of here or JFK. Terminlas were renovated and heard it's much better than it used to be.

Metro-North Commuter Rail

Runs from Grand Central Station as far north as Poughkeepsie Train station. Our house is 40 minutes northwest of Poughkeepsie. It's just under a 2 hour ride to Poughkeepsie from NYC.

Amtrak

Amtrak runs north from Penn Station to Rhinecliff, NY. Rhinecliff is 30 minutes northeast of us. It's about a 2 hr train ride to and from NYC.
