Maid of Honor
This amazing woman is Amanda's mother. There is no one else she would want standing (probably sitting 🤣) next to her while she marries her love. Debbie is the strongest woman she has ever met. Debbie and Amanda aren't just mother and daughter, they are also friends. They love hanging out together, eating, watching Cardinal baseball, laughing and being inappropriate in public....of course if they aren't on each others last nerve. They have been through a lot together. They both will greatly miss Amanda's dad, Debbie's husband Jerry and Amanda's brothers, Andrew and Adam. Those three men were greatly loved and leave a gaping whole in their hearts, but by the grace of God can still laugh and cherish all the wonderful moments they had with them.
Best Man
How can one describe how important Dad has been in my life...He has been supportive, even when I did something stupid. He has been loving and caring through the highs and the lows and has been by my side for my entire life. I can not think of another person who I would want to stand next to me on my special day. I love ya pop and thanks for being there through thick and thin.
Son
Ryan was Amanda's first baby boy, her Ry-Ry. He was such a perfect baby, he is now growing up to be such an amazing man. Ryan has determination like no other, but he has to be interested in the things!!! Ryan is the one we all go to for our movie recommendations. He even makes us play his made up game of rotten tomatoes and we have to guess the rating. His love for music has been a lot of fun watching evolve as he gets older. The sense of humor that he has grown into, and his delivery on point. His laugh is contagious. His hugs are amazing, when he is willing to give them away. He has a beautiful smile. When joy is thought of, Ryan definitely comes to mind, he has the most upbeat positive attitude, and has since he was a child. We are very excited to see the future that God has for this sweet boy.
Son
Harrison is the baby. He likes to keep us on our toes. He is wise beyond his age. Harrison is one you can have deep conversations with and he asks the best questions. Harrison has such a kind Jesus loving heart. He loves to help others. He is often seen helping random people any where he goes. He has a very tough exterior and a very tender heart. He loves his sports. He is like his Uncle Andrew in that respect, not just the joy of the game, but all the stats. Him and Mike can sit for hours talking sports, its fun to see them disagree! We are curious where his love of sports takes him.
Flower Girl
Violet came into our lives at the perfect time, we as a family were dealing with a very sad time and she gave us a bright ray of sunshine the moment she was born. She is full of energy, curiosity, love and kindness for everyone that she encounters. Her sense of humor and quick wit is on point! She may be shy at first, but once she trusts you, you have a Vi too! Amanda has always only had boys in her family. To now have Vi as her niece is one of the best gifts yet. Amanda even won Vi her first goldfish, not sure who was more excited! We love all of the time that we get to spend with our little Vi Vi and can't think of a better person to be our Flower Girl! Love you Vi Vi!!!
Flower Child
When Evie found out that Uncle Monkey was getting married, she had to be in it. Evie is the middle child of one of Mikes closest friends. Evie is an outgoing ray of sunshine. Evie made Amanda's heart melt the first time they met, they hit off right away. She is super talkative and will love to tell you how her day has been and how school is going. We are so lucky to have this girl in our lives. And even better....they just moved closer to us, now we get to see her and her brothers a lot more!
Officiant
In February 2022, Angel picked Mike up at the airport after a work trip. After chatting the entire way home, she said she had a question for him...to which he replied "I don't want to date any of your friends." She replied, "But she's sweet and funny and would be perfect for you!" Needless to say, Angel was right. This was after Angel declared to Amanda that she had 'another' brother. We would be great for each other and she would be an awesome sister-in-law. Which Amanda chuckled and said, "slow your roll, he could be dating someone and I am not ready". Obviously, God and Angel knew what they were doing! When we asked Mike's only sister and unofficial second mom to officiate our wedding, we were hoping she would say yes, Amanda knew there was a 50/50 chance of her saying yes, and she was going to 'try her hardest' to convince her...BUT SHE SAID YES!!! Angel, we are blessed to have you in our lives, you are an incredible human being that has brought us so much joy, honesty, friendship and most of all, love. We are incredibly honored to have you to officiate our special day.
