1. Wrap your luggage at the plastic wrapping stations at the airports if traveling nationally. 2. Be aware of your surroundings 3. Plan accordingly! There are so many amazing things to do! 4. Have fun! 5. We suggest to land in South Africa a week before the wedding so that you can get over the jet lag and the final bachelorette and bridal shower will be before the wedding in SA (its all optional, we are having bachelors and bridal showers twice for Alet’s Family in SA). 6. If you can’t land a week before, no worries! We will still enjoy your company at the wedding! 7. Cape Town is safe, however be aware there are “pick pocketers” there so be aware of your surrounding and don’t make your money nor technology that visible. 8. Don’t open your car window for the people on the street. 9. Don’t put your bag on the car seat, put it on the floor. 10. Be aware of your surroundings at night when driving. 11.Get good sunscreen and bug spray.
1. Tips work basically the same as here. Great service, great tip, good service, good tip, poor service, poor/normal tip. Luggage boys : R10 will make them very happy ($0,40). Some hotels do not accept tips. 2. Tips for services at restaurants and so on. No tips for massage unless you really want to. Have R10(notes) and R5(coins) for tips in cash.
I can suggest babysitters I personally know and they are amazing.

The wedding venue is The Cavalli wine estate in Stellenbosch wine region! Transportation plans will be discussed and planned closer to the event.
All airways are good in SA. Mango, FlySA, Kalhula are the cheapest. British Airways have best rating but more expensive.
Do not take the local Combi taxis! Have the hotel call a taxi for you! Uber is your best choice or car rental. Do not make use of public trains!
