We live in horse country so if you'd like to ride, we recommend checking out Marriott Ranch. There are many wineries, breweries, historic homes, and tons of lovely hikes. We love Delaplane Winery, and Pearmund Winery. Washington D.C. has lots of entertainment including the Smithsonian museums which are all free entry.
