It was October 2015. Erin was at Rockwood Bar & Grill taking advantage of the free WiFi, enjoying an Octoberfest and catching up with Heidi. A couple of guys (Josh and Nick) seated in the dinning area, invited her over. They had recognized her from the night before at Woodys, as she was their bar tender. Erin accepted the invitation. She joined the group where Nick, Josh, Nate and Mike were enjoying food and drinks after testing their luck with the partridge. Erin had sat down across from Mike. Shortly there after he asked her for the WiFi password...and so it began!

In February 2018, Mike, Erin and their new born son, Everett were spending time in Rockwood with family. Just prior to sunset, they bundled up and took the Skidoo Elite across Moosehead Lake to Mount Kineo. It was there on "Blueberry Hill" as Erin would call it, Mike asked her to marry him.
