What is your COVID-19 protocol?

Answer

Our wedding ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will all take place either fully outdoors or in an open-air covered barn so we're hopeful that this event will be safe and low risk. That said, we take the health and safety of our guests seriously so we strongly encourage those attending to get vaccinated/boosted, test before attending wedding-related events, and of course, please stay home if you are feeling sick. We will be sad to miss you, but we must consider the health and wellbeing of all our guests and vendors, especially those who are immunocompromised. We will continue to monitor the COVID situation as we get closer to the date and update this page accordingly. If you are concerned about attending due to risk of COVID-19 exposure, please let us know and we'll do whatever we can to help you feel safe (e.g., seating you on the edge of the reception area, confirming vaccination status of those at your table).

Are kids invited?

Answer

Yes! The venue is very kid-friendly with yard games, baby goats, and plenty of room to run around. We will also have some coloring supplies and other activities for entertainment. We look forward to having your children celebrate with us if you'd like to bring them.

When is the RSVP deadline?

Please RSVP as soon as you are able, by May 1st at the latest.

What is the dress code?

Answer

Cocktail / garden attire. We want you to be comfortable so feel free to wear what you'd like and please consider the venue and weather. The ceremony will be held outdoors (barring rain) and the reception will take place under a covered open-air barn, so we don't recommend anything too fancy, especially high heels as it may be difficult to walk on grass. We hope to have beautiful June weather but of course there is potential for heat or rain so keep an eye on the forecast.

How should I get to the venue?

Answer

The shuttle to the venue with pick up at the AC by Marriott at 3pm and 3:30pm and will make return trips at approximately 8pm, 9pm, and 10pm. You are welcome to take it even if you are staying elsewhere. There is also parking available at the venue so you are welcome to drive yourself to the Chapel Hill Carriage House, located at 3110 Jones Ferry Rd, Chapel Hill, NC 27516.

Can you accommodate dietary restrictions?

Answer

Yes! We want to ensure everyone can enjoy delicious food at our reception so we're working with our caterer to have vegetarian, nut-free, dairy-free, and gluten-free options. Please let us know of your dietary requirements when you RSVP so we are aware of and can plan for your needs.
