At first Lydia was simply one of the many Sarah Lawrence girls with brown hair and bangs to Lakshmi. After an evening spent together in the Andrew's House foyer, they realized their shared hopes and desires, quickly becoming best friends. Lydia and Lakshmi went on to skulk behind rocks on campus, wander Paris together, and drink lots of water, holding feet the entire time. Lakshmi is the doctor to Lydia's nurse, the jalapeno to her pizza, the bumble bee to her pumpkin. And now the bridesmaid to her bride!
Melissa Roderman
Bridesmaid
Melissa and Lydia met in Ms. Moschella's fifth-grade class where they were forced to read aloud in front of all their classmates. Once Melissa moved from the north side to the south side, they spent a lot time at Donaldson Park, riding their scooters, spelling names on the baseball field (i before e except as in...), and repping MEDYLL hard. Middle school bonded them together and high school left them confused about math. Although they went to different colleges and no longer live in the same small (excellent) "borough", they will always be each other's ride or dies.
Santiago Latorre
Best Man
Santiago and Mike's friendship only began after becoming roommates during the Fall of 2013. While both pursuing their master's, they only met briefly when Mike played on Santiago's recital. Soon after, they formed an incredibly close bond. Creating the all-star clarinet and bass trombone duo, "Dee-tore", their friendship holds no bounds even into the professional world. (An unreleased album titled "The Living Room Sessions" exists in the ether). Although they now live many miles apart, the brotherhood of Santiago and Mike remains as strong as ever.
Elizabeth Harraman
Best Man
At first, Elizabeth and Mike did not like each other at all. But after being in classes and music rehearsals together, they realized that this unusual friendship was destined to be a strong one. Living together for 3 years, they formed a bond along with Santiago Latorre (co-best man) that remains unbroken. Elizabeth has been present since day one of Mike and Lydia's relationship and continues to be a strong rock that they rely on.

Mike is so excited to have Carolyn as one of his groomsman and celebrate this special day with her!! Since the first day they met, Mike and Carolyn bonded immediately over being #SLCBoyfriends . They formed a very strong friendship through many years of dinners, drinks, SLC holiday parties and more recently, visits to his and Lydia's home in Round Lake #SCLBoyfriends are #RideorDie for life!
