✈️ GETTING THERE & GETTING AROUND Flying In: Fly into Barcelona–El Prat Airport (BCN). From the Airport: • Taxi or Uber is the easiest option. • Trains are affordable, reliable, and scenic along the coast. *Google maps will be your best friend! You can find all the train schedules and locations on there. Getting Around: • In Barcelona: Walking, taxis, Uber, and public transit are easy and plentiful. • In Llavaneres: The town is more spread out; taxis and rideshares are more limited. 🚗 RENTAL CARS • Not recommended if staying in central Barcelona. • Helpful if staying in Llavaneres or planning coastal day trips. Recommended rental companies: Sixt, Enterprise, Hertz, Europcar Best pickup location: BCN Airport 💲MONEY AND PAYMENTS Credit cards are widely accepted in both locations. We recommend carrying a small amount of cash for taxis, small cafes, and local shops. ATMs are easy to find. *The city is known for pick pocketing! Avoid having your phone in your back pocket, keep purses in front of you, don’t carry around super valuable items. 🔌 ADAPTERS AND ELECTRONICS Spain uses Type C/F plugs and 220V power. A universal adapter is recommended. 🗣️ LANGUAGE Spanish and Catalan are spoken, but English is widely understood—especially in tourist areas. A friendly hola or gracias always goes a long way. 👕 WHAT TO PACK • Comfortable walking shoes • Lightweight clothing • A light jacket for evenings * and of COURSE your best outfit for the big day! 🚐 WEDDING DAY TRANSPORTATION Transportation details for the wedding day will be shared closer to the date. Guests staying in Barcelona or surrounding areas should plan transportation in advance, as availability is more limited outside the city. 🗺️ MAKE A TRIP OF IT!
