We're Getting Married

Tim and Mikayla met the most natural way no internet and no dating websites, just two people lost in the world that found each other without any intent of finding someone. Tim and Mikayla met at Ethyl's Smokehouse in O'fallon, MO on October 10th of 2021. Mikayla was there with her best friend Lauren after they had just finished at the Gym. Lauren and Mikayla were there grabbing a couple of drinks and food. Tim was also at Ethyls that night with his buddies. They were sitting on opposite sides of the bar. Tim had just gotten out of the military in June after serving in the Navy for 6 years. Tim was sitting with his friend Donavan when all of them made eye contact with each other. Mikayla saw Tim walk into the bar and that's when she made her move. The next night Mikayla and Lauren invited Donavan and Tim back out to the same bar. Funny thing was that Tim made sure to go to the gym prior to going to the bar. That night Tim had asked for Mikayla's phone number. October 14th was the day when Tim and Mikayla officially started dating. Tim and Mikayla went to Texas Roadhouse for dinner as their first date together. From then on they were inseparable. Tim and Mikayla welcomed their first pup into their lives Lady Mae, on November 13, 2022. They moved into their first apartment on February 5, 2023. They lived in their apartment for 1 year. Tim proposed in that same year. Tim and Mikayla made the most of their engagement and had fun touring venues and going cake tasting for fun. Tim and Mikayla's favorite time of the year is Christmas time, where they can enjoy the company of not only family but friends that are the closest to their hearts. One of their favorite places to go at Christmas time is Branson, MO to Silver Dollar City and Big Cedar Lodge. Mikayla grew up going to Branson often, and in February 2022 Mikayla took Tim for the first time. Since then they have had season passes to Silver Dollar City. Mikayla and Tim moved out of their apartment and saved up some money and bought a house in Lake Saint Louis July 10, 2024. They bought a fixer upper and have made the house their home. They continue to make improvements on the home. They love their neighbors that they have, and have made some amazing friendships. Some of Mikayla and Tim's favorite things to do together is watch Disney movies, go tasting at the wineries and breweries, and anything and everything to do with Christmas. Tim and Mikayla are so excited to celebrate with their friends and family at their wedding. They cannot wait to dance the night away.

Tim proposed to Mikayla on July 29th, 2023 while they were on vacation in Branson. Tim proposed at Big Cedar Lodge in Ridgedale MO. This is Tim and Mikayla's most favorite place to be. Tim Proposed to Mikayla in front of a Big White Church and water fall at Big Cedar Lodge. They had previously gotten a picture at the exact spot when Mikayla brought Tim to Branson for the first time. Mikayla had told Tim that it was her dream to get engaged at Big Cedar. Tim told many people that he was planning on doing the proposal in Big Cedar Lodge. Tim was very nervous but also so excited to start his own path with the girl he loved the most. Tim had picked out a simple ring to propose with and then took Mikayla shopping at the Jewelry store. They went and had lunch that day and then spent hours together picking out the most perfect ring. The couple has planned the most perfect wedding together. Tim and Mikayla have many goals for their future, and cannot wait to start achieving them together as one.
