We went on a last minute 4 day trip to South Dakota and we stayed at a different hotel every night. When we arrived at the second one on Saturday night I was putting all of our stuff in the room and Sean was behind me and when I turned around he was down on one knee asking me if I would be with him for the rest of our lives. I was truly shocked and had tears in my eyes because I was not expecting him to do this. We had just talked about engagement right before we went on the trip but we both agreed that we were going to wait until sometime in the spring to do it but clearly he had something else planned😉. He proposed to me with my moms wedding ring from her first marriage and then from there Sean and I took it to a jewelry store to get the diamond re-set into a different setting and that is how it all happened.
