OUR STORY

3/9/2019

Peter and I met through our mutual friends- Kali and Lucas. This relationship for sure was not anything expected. He told me from the beginning that he was not going to be the easiest person to be with, all else considering everything him and his family were going with his father in the hospital fighting for his life with Guillain Barre Syndrome. We had many ups and downs for the first five months of our relationship. He wasn't sure what he wanted, when I was falling for him more and more when I saw him. Fast forward to June 2015 and now I'm in the process of moving down to Bar Harbor for the summer for the simple fact was that I was done with him, I was looking for a way to move on and grow on my own. He finally made the dearing moment to ask me to finally be his girl officially. FINALLY. College was already hard enough, let alone going back and forth with this relationship. He cried and pleaded, saying he was ready to do whatever it takes to make this work for us. We did it. We made it work. His family didn't really know me that well because they were all back and forth between Boston Area and here. His mother was in MA more than here. July 2015, his dad finally was able to come home and we all celebrated as a family his return, while celebrating his and Cindy's birthdays. I grew so attached to his family very quickly. They're very welcoming and warm. It was also very cool because I found out his mother and my dad graduated high school together and his family and my step-mother's family grew up together. SMALL WORLD AFTER ALL.... We have so much to be blessed for. I'm lucky to have found a man that loves football just as much as I do, and can handle lack of love my family has for the new england patriots. ;) I thank the good Lord for bringing this man into my life. Life hasn't always come easy for us, but we live vicariously through this sign at our house: "We may not have it all together, but together we have it all" And that is our life in 2000 words. Thanks

#HoneyMoon

For the past year, Peter has been working for United Airlines and we've been blessed to have some killer flight benefits. For our honeymoon, we've decided to live spontaneously and go to the airport and decide where we're going from there, and do that 4-5x while on our travels. My goal is to get on the west coast of the country, and I think we're mostly just excited to see where the airplanes going to take us. It's nerve-wracking because there's that thought of the unknown, but at the same time, Peter's one of the smartest men that I know (don't let me know that I'm saying this LOL) and he can pretty much figure anything out by the click of his phone within minutes. Prayers are always needed, because I'm excited, yet very nervous about this transition into marriage.
