FAQs

Question

Is it an indoor or outdoor wedding?

Answer

The ceremony will be held outdoors, weather permitting. The reception will be held primarily indoors, though there are some outdoor areas that will be accessible as well.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

We're having a semi-formal wedding! A suit or a gown of course is acceptable, but don't be afraid to dress down a bit either! A nice pair of jeans and a button up is fancy enough for us! If you wish to color coordinate, our wedding colors are burgundy, emerald green, and burnt orange!

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive no later than 4:15 pm, as the ceremony is planned to start at 4:30! We'd like everyone to be present and seated by then!

Question

Are children welcome?

Answer

Children are welcome to attend and take part in the celebration! However, parents are responsible for the supervision and care of their children. Venue staff and the hosting families are not liable for any injuries that may occur during the event, especially to children.

Question

Will alcohol be served at the wedding?

Answer

Yes, there will be a small selection of various alcoholic beverages, though no liquor will be served.

Question

Are guests allowed to take photos and videos during the wedding?

Answer

We ask that guests refrain from taking pictures during the ceremony, and take care to avoid obstructing the wedding photographer as they take photos of the celebration. We encourage guests to take photos and/or videos to capture moments using their phone or personal camera during the reception, and will have a hashtag posted so that we can see all the wonderful memories that are captured!

Question

Will there be parking at the venue?

Answer

Yes, there will be plenty of parking at the venue, we ask that guests follow the direction of the parking attendants when arriving.

Question

Can we bring gifts to the wedding?

Answer

Guests are not obligated to give or bring a gift. However, if you wish to give a gift, there is a link to our registry that can be found under the Registry tab of this website. If you wish to bring a gift with you to the wedding, there will be a designated gift table in the reception area.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Guests are welcome to bring a date to the celebration, we just ask that their information be included in the RSVP so we can ensure enough accommodations for all guests that will be attending.
