Hotel
There are 10 bedrooms with 10 bathrooms for our family. Everyone will receive their own room throughout our stay.
Flight
There are multiple different airports our guests may fly into for our trip. The closest airport to our villa is Florence, it is a 55-minute drive. Another option is the Umbria Internation Airport, which is a little over an hour drive.
Train
Italy’s train system is fast and convenient especially when traveling from Firenze Santa Maria Novella to Bucine, the closest train station to the villa. If you're arriving at Florence Airport (Amerigo Vespucci), it’s easy to reach Firenze Santa Maria Novella Train Station — just a short 20-minute tram ride or taxi away. From there, multiple train options run throughout the day to Bucine, with travel times typically ranging from 1 to 1.5 hours. Tickets usually cost between €5–€12 when booked in advance. You can purchase your ticket at the station, through the Trenitalia app or Trainline. Once you arrive at Bucine, a private transfer or taxi can be arranged to take you directly to the villa. Bucine train station is about 20 minutes away from our villa.
Travel Note
There are several options for traveling from the airport to the villa. Private transfers are a convenient and comfortable choice, typically ranging from €250 to €320 for 1 to 4 people. Taxi services are also available, with average fares around €100 to €150, depending on availability and timing. Another option is BlaBlaCar, a popular European carpooling platform where drivers offer rides to passengers traveling in the same direction - you are able to choose your driver/car based on available times. Rental cars are also an option if you would rather drive yourself to the villa.
