FAQs

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by 1 April 2026. We want to ensure that we have a final headcount in a timely manner. If you do not RSVP by this time, your seat and food cannot be guaranteed. You are welcome to RSVP as early as receiving your save the date. Brady and Mikayla are beyond excited to have you celebrating with them!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We have specified the invited guests on the invitation. Other indications of additional guests were labeled as "and family" or "and guest". However, we may have some wiggle room for additional guests when we get a better idea of who is able to attend who was initially invited. Please feel free to reach out to Mikayla closer to the wedding date if you would like to bring a plus-one! We will be arranging a seating chart due to the designated number of tables and chairs ,so please reach out no later than 1 April 2026 to allow us enough time to work out the seating chart accordingly. Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love your children and are so happy to celebrate with the ones included on the invitation. While we wish we could extend the invitation to all of our guests children, we are keeping the celebration limited and can only accommodate those specified on your invitation. We are hoping you use this opportunity as a date night. I hope you are still able to join us in celebration and use it as a date night!

Question

What is on the menu?

For cocktail hour, we are doing a soft pretzel bar with various dips. For dinner, we are doing a buffet style BBQ dinner with your choice of Pulled Pork or Pulled Chicken with sides including Potato Salad, Cole Slaw, Baked Beans, Mac n Cheese, Green Beans, Salad and Mashed Potatoes. There will be water, soft drinks and an open bar available.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

While there is no specific dress code for the venue, please come dressed in Garden Attire. This usually consists of lighter colors typically worn in spring or summer. Some examples are long dresses/ sundresses, florals, dresses shirts or polos in lighter hues. You do not need to wear a suit. Please do not wear white or anything that is categorized as white. White is reserved for the Bride. Here is a pinterest board of ideas if you are unsure of what to wear: https://pin.it/2BE3x2U3g

Question

Will the ceremony be outside or in the barn?

Answer

We are hoping the weather is beautiful so we can have a ceremony outside just beyond the barn. If the weather does not permit us to be outdoors, we will hold the ceremony on the second level of the barn. The reception will be inside the barn with cocktail hour, dinner and drinks downstairs while tables, chairs and dance floor will be upstairs.

Question

Can we take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We ask that you honor our unplugged ceremony. This means no phones, cameras or tablets during the ceremony. Our photographer is a professional and will capture the moment. Once cocktail hour and the reception begins, please take all the pictures you desire.
