We're Getting Married!

Following a night of hanging out in downtown York with some friends, Aidan asked Mikayla to be his girlfriend in the parking garage across from White Rose. He got down on one knee with a stuffed animal that looked like Coral, Mikayla's cat, and she said, "Yes!" They have been inseparable ever since!

Aidan had gotten the ring in the mail a couple months prior to the engagement, but was waiting for the right time to ask! Mikayla had her suspicions about the whole thing, considering it was an unusual package. She also wasn't sure if he was "really" going to ask her during the mini birthday vacation, but to her surprise he did! The day after her birthday, they hiked the PA Grand Canyon where he had initially planned to propose. Because of crowds and no private space, he waited until they got back to the lodge they were staying at! He had asked an older couple to "take pictures" of them, but secretly told them to record the proposal while Mikayla chose a spot to take the "pictures!" It was such a special moment for them!
