We're Getting Married!

We met a very long time ago. We grew up going to the same elementary school and junior high. The first time we actually talked was at a church event called "frequency". A mutual friend introduced us and it was love at first hug... for me. Aaron, on the other hand, was the king of Union Hill Junior High School and I became just another one of his "followers". Something about me must have stood out, though. The next week at church, we exchanged numbers. We became best friends, we told each other everything. I guess you could say he was my first REAL crush, but eventually life and new relationships got in the way. He moved to high school, got into a long term relationship and I did the same. Fast forward four years. The relationships were over, and Aaron had caught my eye once again. I decided to text him. We begin talking again, and it felt as if we never stopped. Eventually, we fell in love. Now, here we are. I knew from the moment we talked at frequency that Aaron Borden would change the world, I just didn't quite realize it would be my world that he would change.

In December of 2019, right after our 3 year anniversary, we took a trip to Gatlinburg with Aaron's brother and his girlfriend. On the last day, we were on the sky bridge. Aaron wanted to take a picture in front of the bridge. I, of course, said okay! I didn't even realize what was going on until he didn't turn to face the camera for the picture. Right there, hundreds of feet in the air, Aaron kneeled and asked me to be his wife. I said yes! Everyone was cheering, his brother and his girlfriend were in on it the entire time... I had no idea! This was by far the best day of my life... but that is destined to change in September of 2022!
