Olivia and Mikayla have been friends for over 10 years. Even though they spent 4 years attending separate, rival high schools, they have been inseparable since the day they met in their 7th grade history class! Olivia is the life of any party, and Mikayla can always count on her to make her cry with laughter. Mikayla’s family recognizes Olivia as one of their own, and she will always be like a sister to Mikayla. You can expect a hilarious, tear-jerking Maid of Honor speech at the wedding from Olivia.
Chris Baker
Best Man
Chris is Nate's younger brother. They grew up traveling the world and living around the US and Europe while their dad was in the Air Force. Chris and Nate love skateboarding together and doing anything from working on cars to making YouTube videos. You can expect to see Chris' sense of humor come out in his Best Man speech.
Maddy Hamblen

Maddy and Mikayla met in middle school, but their friendship really solidified in high school. They became closer than ever when they were on the Shadle Park Cheer team in their Junior and Senior years of high school, and spent every day together. In fact, they spent so much time together that Maddy managed to be in the car when Mikayla got pulled over on 3 separate occasions! Maddy is caring and loyal and her and Mikayla will lifelong friends.
Austin Waller
Groomsman
Austin and Nate met while in tech school after Air Force Basic training. Once they graduated tech school they both ended up in Washington and worked together in the same shop. Austin is originally from Tennessee. Nate and Austin enjoy riding motorcycles, playing video games, shooting guns, and racing go carts. Mikayla and Nate spend a lot of Friday evenings with Austin and his wife Whitley, who are new parents!
Valerie Porter

Valerie and Mikayla became best friends in their freshman year of high school, and really bonded over their shared hatred of math. They also did cheer together in their Junior year. These two worked together at American Eagle for 2 years and worked for the same company again when they both became baristas at Blissful Blends! Valerie is a dog lover, funny, and her and her parents are like family to Mikayla.
Brian Micheil
Groomsman
Brian, who actually goes by Micheil is another one of the guys that Nate met through his military career. Micheil is very down to earth, and always ready to help his friends! He is a jokester and him and Nate cant help but play off one another's humor. Micheil and the couple are frequenters of the brunch and mimosa spot at the Spokane Tribe Casino!
Mary Patton
Bridesmaid
Mary and Mikayla met in a bible study group called “Rooted” in 2017 and they immediately became close. Mary is one of the sweetest souls and an absolute blessing to all she encounters. She has a heart of gold and is a light in Mikayla’s life. Mary also plays a big role in the couple’s lives, as she was the one that introduced them to each other! Mary also once forgave Mikayla for spilling red wine on her white bedding, so their friendship truly can withstand many tests.
Hunter Hemming

Hunter and Nathaniel met in their high school shop class. They share a love for building and racing cars and they have spent many summers camping in Montana together. Hunter is down to earth, laid back and a loyal friend. Him and Nathaniel used to rap battle while cooking food over a fire pit, and once even cooked a steak on a rock while camping.
Janise Judah

Janise and Mikayla also became friends when they met in “Rooted”. Janise is a dear friend to the couple. She is a teacher, and the field is fitting for her to say the least. She is wise, kind, and one of the hardest workers Mikayla knows. She has also played a key role in Mikayla’s faith. Janise and Mikayla (Mary too) spent a lot of time together during the 2020 spring lockdown, which created some of Mikayla’s favorite memories of the year. You can expect Janise and Mikayla to jam out to some Queen songs at the wedding reception!
Stayton Kent

As sketchy as is sounds, Stayton and Nate met on craigslist! Stayton posted an ad for a car and Nate so happened to go look at it! Nate did not end up buying the car, but weeks after the test drive, the two of them bumped into each other while driving side by side on day! They quickly bonded over their car hobby and attended the young adults group at church together regularly.
Emily Murphy

Emily and Mikayla have been friends since 7th grade. They met in Math class and bonded over shared hatred for the subject! Emily and Mikayla once had a four-wheeling accident where Emily drove the pair off a big drop-off in the woods in front of panicked family and friends. Mikayla came out unscathed but Emily broke her arm, unfortunately. The experience was quite scary and serious at the time, but the two can't help but look back on that bonding moment and laugh. Emily is a loyal and lifelong friend. She is a light to anyone she comes in contact with and is such a supportive person in Mikayla's life!
Fionn O'Reilly

Fionn is another OG member of "the boys". Him and Nate used to play on the worship team at Life Center together. Fionn is always up for adventure and him and Nate have had many. He fits right in with the rest of the motorcycle, car, and camping enthusiasts of the group and has known the couple since day one!
Danny McCarthy
Groomsman
Danny and Nathaniel met at church when Nate was a youth group leader. Danny is the "young buck" of the group but still manages to pull his own. Mikayla and Nathaniel have always joked that Danny is their "Son", and he calls them "Mom and Dad". His sense of humor and wild personality make him a special part of the group. Danny and Nathaniel also enjoy riding their motorcycles together.
