Business Casual. Otherwise, express yourself! Disregard gender norms, if you'd like! Be all the colors of the rainbow, or live your goth truth! Please, wear whatever makes you most comfortable! :) BUT! If you outdo either of the grooms, you will be asked to perform a death drop on the spot. Depending on if we're impressed or not, you'll be asked to change. We can also be bribed with promises of taking the garment home with us at the end of the day.
Dinner will be served buffet style, with several dishes for each course. Vegan and vegetarian options will be available. Please let us know of any food allergies or dietary restrictions so we can inform the catering company, Delaney House.
Driving or a rideshare/taxi serivce are your best bets, although public transportation can get you there! There's the Holyoke Train Station that's roughly a 10 minute drive from the venue. About 15-20 minutes from the venue is Union Station in Springfield, MA, which has more train and bus options. For those flying in from out of state, we'd recommend Bradley International Airport, Boston Logan International Airport, or Albany International Airport. Logan is likely to have the best prices/options, but is the furthest away. Bradley is a 30-45 minute drive from the venue. Albany is a 1.5 hour drive from the venue. Logan is a 2 hour drive from the venue.
The Log Cabin has a free, paved parking lot right onsite, with easy access to the ceremony and reception area.
The ceremony will take place outside, with the reception occurring right next to it in a tent (so not actually a cabin, sorry). Should the weather turn sour, there's a chance the ceremony gets moved indoors. The reception will occur in the tent regardless of weather conditions, but with access to the outdoor area. Please check out The Log Cabin's website for an idea of the view!
Chaotic! Just kidding, it's not as bad as March and April (usually). It's likely going to be warm, and MA is always humid in the warm months, so dress with that in mind.
For the Ceremony, the first couple rows will be reserved for Wedding Party members and immediate family. Otherwise, seating will be first-come, first-serve. For the Reception, everyone will be assigned to a table, with spots being first-come, first-served.
