We're Getting Married!

Nick and Mikala met the first week of freshmen year in a mutual friend's dorm room at University of St. Thomas. Nick added Mikala on Snapchat, but as he was one of MANY faces she met that week, she soon deleted him, thinking "I'll never see this guy again. He won't notice." He noticed. A few weeks later, their paths crossed again and Nick and Mikala soon became close friends.

Nick came out to Mikala's hometown in California to cheer her up after a rough summer. Their first date was at Universal Studios Hollywood, and then to Santa Monica.

Nick brought Mikala to the Mary Grotto behind the UST Chapel. The two would often sit on the benches here and decompress from college life. Their story started here, and it felt like the perfect spot to ask the question.
