It all started on a app, talked for two weeks. Where we decided for are first date, let's go on a hike. YES A HIKE! Many people thought we were CRAZY! But something felt different that day, we talked like we've known each other for years. Even though, the heat got the better of us and we cut the hike short, it still was the best day ever. It wasn't till about 2 months later at Matt mom's, that it became official over Facebook where we chose June 25th as the day, we became a couple. Now fast forward 3yrs. later. We're taking the next step in our lifes and becoming Husband and Wife.

It started with a weekend get away to Portland to visit family. The plan was to stop by Mount. St. Helen's on the way home, but the day we left for home, fou d out the park was closed. So made a new plan of taking the very much longer route home, going through Astoria, Oregon. We stopped to stretch our legs at a look point, where you can see Washington across the water. When we parked the car, Matt said he needed to get something out from his backpack, in the trunk. He told me to stay in the car, while he gets it. Took a good five minutes before he found what he was looking for. We walked up the stairs to the look out and Matt was acting very nervous. He took a step back to take a picture of me. When he was done, I turned around to look at the water and noticed Matt wasn't next to me. So I turned around and found him on one knee, trying g to hold back his tears. He asked and I said "YES!". The funny part was when a family was trying to come up the stairs and than noticed us, the dad said "Congratulations, good job man!"
