We went to high school together but never talked. it was until our mutual friends started dating that we started to hang out. After we got to know each other we spent almost everyday together; we would go fishing, play laser tag or just drive around. We started dating July 26, 2013. While dating we got to know each others families, we went up north to the cabin (our happy place)to hunt, fish and four wheel. fast forward to June 30, 2020! we were were up north for our annual 4th of July vaca. we got up there a day before everyone else to get most of the work out of the way. we deicide to take a break and go have lunch on the boat. I (mikala) always tried to get Eddy to dance with me but this time he put on our favorite song "livin on Love" and asked me to dance. Eddys heart was pounding! when I asked him what was going on he made up some lame excuse. After the song was over Eddy told me to turn around and close my eyes. I really thought he was going to push me in but instead he got down on one knee and told me to turn around and asked me to marry him!! after a good 5 minutes of crying I finally said YES!
