How far is the venue from SLC Airport?

Answer

The venue and lodging are at Solitude Mountain Resort, which is a 45 minute drive from SLC International Airport.

Question

Since the ceremony is on the mountain top, what shoes do I wear?

Answer

We recommend that women wear chunky heels or flats as there is dirt you walk on near the ceremony site.

Question

How do I get to the top of the mountain for the ceremony?

Answer

Guests will meet at Last Chance Lodge (a 2 minute walk from the Solitude Inn) and the chairlift is directly in front of that. The lift is called Apex Lift.

What if I don’t feel comfortable taking the chair lift?

Answer

There will be vehicles providing transportation for those who do not wish to take the chair lift up.

Are children allowed at the wedding?

Answer

The wedding day (ceremony, cocktail hour, reception, and after party) will be adults only. Thank you for understanding!

What is there to do at Solitude Mountain Resort?

There is a variety of activities at Solitude. Hiking, mountain biking, massages, pool, and restaurants.

Is there a grocery store nearby?

Answer

There is not. There are two restaurants on property, but we suggestion buying some snacks and alcohol beforehand (in Salt Lake City) to have at your leisure.
