Baltimore is a city of neighborhoods. Some of our favorites include Hampden, Fells Point, and Mount Vernon. Downtown, the Inner Harbor, and Harbor East aren't worth spending much time in.
Beautiful mansion near our home.
Great (free!) art museum not far from our house. Home to the renowned Cone Collection of modern art.
You can climb up the OG Washington Monument (built before the one in DC!) for a great view of the city.
If you're looking for something to do on Friday night, try Duckpin Bowling (Baltimore's version of bowling) here, open since 1927.
Located in an 1860s oyster cannery on the waterfront, this museum has fun exhibitions on Baltimore's industrial legacy.
This was (and still is) our favorite restaurant, and most frequented when we lived in Station North.
Great place for Saturday breakfast and coffee!
This is just a little neighborhood pub, but they have the best crab cakes in Baltimore.
The best place to experience Chesapeake regional food. Housed in an historic 1870s foundry. Be sure to get the spicy cheese dip and butterscotch pudding!
Our favorite spot in Little Italy. Good focaccia and "the best (meat)balls on the block"!
Wonderful bakery in Hampden that is 100% GF and vegan.
The best oyster house/raw bar in the city. Located on the water in historic Fells Point.
Amazing steamed buns! Our favorites are The Neighborhood Bird and Tofu Brah. They have a location in Upper Fells Point too.
