One chilly morning in December, we met downtown for SMPW. He was the Keyman, and it was my first metro shift ever. I was so nervous because I was new, I didn't notice him at all. So when he expressed interest, I turned him down. (According to him, brutally so.) But then we had a few more shifts together and I finally came around. We definitely have Jehovah to thank for bringing us together. Metro was a blessing in more ways than one :)
Jonathan popped the question on a rooftop downtown overlooking the the city and marina at sunset. Both of our families jumped out and surprised me, and when I turned around, Jonathan was on one knee. It was beautiful and heartfelt. Yes, I ugly cried.
