It's all happening!

We met while working at a summer camp (shout out the Gull Lake Centre!). Jeremy was the worship leader and I, Mikaela, was a cabin counselor. The first half of the summer we were hard at work and honestly, we didn't really think much of one another. We slowly became friends and soon recognized a special connection between us. We were very focused on the tasks set before us for the summer and even though we didn't know where the other person stood, we spoke to many of our friends regarding the feelings we had for one another. During the last week of summer, Jeremy explained his feelings for me, and although I was over the moon, I also knew we would be parting ways for a few months. We grew our friendship long-distance, really taking time to seek God for wisdom and clarity. January of 2019 rolled around the corner and we started dating. Many months later here we are. Overjoyed and excited for the next chapter of our lives (God really works in crazy ways).
