We met on the dating app, Bumble. And if you know anything about Bumble, you swipe right on the people that interest you most, but it is up to the woman to start the conversation. I started with a "Hello, nice to meet you!" to Christopher. From there, Christopher wanted to meet in person, I was skeptical and brought both of my siblings for backup (which Christopher forever will mock me for). So, in the midst of the peak of the pandemic, the four of us met up at Harbor Freight and if you told us then that we'd be here today, we'd say you were lying!

Funny story, actually, I bugged Christopher for a ring for a very long time (Chris would tell you since month 3 but it wasn't quite THAT long). I always said I wouldn't be surprised because I would always be expecting a ring from him, but oh was I surprised! However, he and my dad nearly ruined it, I'll let them tell you that story, though! Christopher and I moved into our new house and decided to throw a housewarming/Independence Day celebration. Christopher wanted to "thank" our guests for coming but really he wanted to propose in front of all of our family and friends, but I ruined that thinking it would be pushing people out the door. So once almost everyone was gone, Christopher went outside and I followed shortly thereafter wondering what was wrong as the party was still inside, he proceeded to get down on one knee. I was so shocked and so happy, at first, all I could think to say was "Are you serious!?" I hug Christopher and proudly went to go show off my new bling!
