What time should I arrive to the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 3 PM, we recommend guests arrive 20-30 minutes early to get a seat and settle in. The Basilica of the Sacred Heart is only about a 10 min walk from the Morris Inn.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your wedding invitation says "and guest" then yes; if not, we would prefer if it is just you.

Is there a shuttle to and from the hotel to the reception?

Answer

Yes, check out our hotel and travel page for all the information you need. There is also parking onsite at St. Joe Farm if you decide to drive your own personal vehicle.

What if I have a food allergy or dietary restriction?

Please let us know if you have any allergies or special considerations when submitting your RSVP. We will notify our reception venue and they will gladly accommodate your needs.

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

Yes, please check the schedule page for more information. There will be a welcome party for guests at Foley’s the night before the wedding. In addition, we will be hosting a farewell brunch at the Morris Inn on the Saturday following the wedding. We kindly ask that your RSVP to these events.

Do you have a hotel block for guests? Where do you recommend I stay?

Answer

Yes, we have a hotel block reserved for the Morris Inn which is located right on the Notre Dame campus. Feel free to call them at (574) 631-2000 or click the link on the travel page. The hotel is about a 10 min walk from the ceremony and a 15 min drive to the reception.
