love is in the air

Born just two weeks and five years apart, Malika, the dreamer 🤔, and Zavki, the adventurer 😎, were destined to meet. Z and M met at a UCC event, not realizing what life had in store for them. Right from the start, it felt like they had known each other forever. They both shared a love for art, food, and being the center of attention, and so they clicked instantly. Not even a week later, they teamed up to plan their first event for the UCC community. It was such a hit that people still talk about it (well, Zavki says they do). Working together showed them how great of a team they are and that when arguments arise, Z should definitely agree with whatever M says. (written by M)😂 In December, after what felt like forever, M finally graduated! They celebrated with lots of pizza and a Mafia game.🍕 M—no surprise—totally crushed it (at least Malika thinks so). By January, after a lengthy search on Zillow, Z had his first apartment. Since M could not have pets at her house, she encouraged Z to adopt the most adorable and lazy cat🐱 they named Ozzy. By August, Z knew it was time to take the next step. He planned a romantic proposal at M’s favorite beach 😍Everything was perfect… except that he forgot the ring in the car! While M was blindfolded in the middle of the beach, Z ran back to the car to get the ring. Thankfully, the seagulls around didn’t snitch. And when he finally went down on one knee and asked to be his forever, M, of course, said: “YES.”💕 (mainly because the seagulls were staring). The Near Future💍 They’ll have their Nikkah ceremony this December, bringing together their family traditions and customs. Then, on January 3, 2025, they’ll get married on Kauai—M’s favorite island—at the Hilton Garden Inn.🏝️ With hosting the ceremony and reception at the same spot, it’ll be a day full of love, laughter, dancing, and maybe a few too many cocktails. Zavki and Malika can’t wait to share the most important day of their lives with you by their side!!!
