The dress code is Semi-formal.

Where will the Ceremony and the Reception be held?
Answer
The Ceremony and the Reception will be held at the same location! Both events will take place at the Lake Elmo Inn Event Center. The address is 3712 Layton Avenue North, Lake Elmo, MN. This is NOT the same place as the Restaurant. It is an entirely separate building. Please make sure to put the address above into your GPS or type in the full name "Lake Elmo Inn Event Center"

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?
Answer
The wedding ceremony will be held outdoors, weather permitting. The reception will be held indoors.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?
Answer
Seating begins as early as 4:00pm. Please arrive to the venue prior to 4:30pm to get situated.

Whats on the Menu? Will there by drinks?
Answer
We will have appetizers during the cocktail hour. Dinner will be a buffet style with menu items that include a chicken, steak, and a vegetarian option along with many side dishes and desserts. There will be a bar to serve a variety of drinks including beer, wine, and cocktails through out the night.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?
Answer
Transportation to and from the wedding will not be provided.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?
Answer
Yes! Please see the travel page for a list of hotels that are within a 15 minute drive to the venue. Please note that we will not be reserving a hotel block at any of these hotels.

What is the parking situation?
Answer
There is plenty of parking at the venue and it is free! There is also plenty of street parking nearby the venue if additional parking is needed that is also free.

am I allowed to bring extra guests?
Answer
We are not allowing additional plus-ones to our wedding. The name of every guest (some just say "guest") invited to attend is clearly listed on your invitation and no additional guests can be accommodated.

We kindly ask that you do not share photos of us on social media!
