Peter Stjernholm

Best Man

The decision to choose Peter as my best man came very easily to me. The two of us have shared many memories together that include laughing, crying, adventuring and more. There is no price that could amount to the experiences we’ve had together. Peter is someone that stays in your life forever. There are very few people in this world that I feel comfortable and can trust to go to with anything. Peter is not only my best friend but he’s also someone I look up to in the faith and a man who encourages me daily.

Almost every memory I have includes Emma in some way. She is someone I can go to in any and every situation and I am beyond thankful for that. Life without her truly would not be the same and since before I can remember I have known without a doubt she would be my maid of honor. Not just because she is my sister but because she also doubles as a best friend. I couldn't imagine my wedding without her standing right next to me!

Gabe Schonacher

This guy is one of my best friends in the world. We first met each other at a church conference through a mutual friend. At first, we were both skeptical about meeting but after about 2 minutes of getting to know each other, we realized we were incredibly similar. We bonded over the Lord, stocks and beings regulars in the gym. Gabe is someone who puts his relationship with Christ first. He is incredibly passionate and driven in everything he does. His family has always welcomed me into their home with open arms, delicious food and wisdom to share. Every memory I have with him, we sharpen and encourage each other.

Sera McFarland

Sera is not only my soon to be sister-in-law but, she is also someone I consider to be a close friend. I can not picture marrying Andy without Sera right there next to me! Her drive and determination stood out the moment we met and she continues to inspire me by the way she approaches all things in life. I may never understand Sera’s love for corgis... but (aside from that) she is truly an amazing woman that I already see as a sister. I can not wait for all of the memories to come!

One of the things I love most about Timo is his gift of communication. He’s the kind of guy who can make friends with just about anyone. I first met Timo during a church service and gradually over time we started to grow closer as friends. It wasn’t until he worked for the same moving company did we really get to know each other. There's levels to Timo. He's creative. He's encouraging. He's humble. He treats his wife with respect and speaks highly of her when she isn't in the room. It's encouraging to see men who do that. To have him stand next to me is truly a blessing.

Bekah Loecken

Bekah is the most thoughtful and intentional friend I have ever had the privilege of knowing. She is quick to encourage me and she is constantly putting the needs of others before her own. To say she is selfless, is an understatement. Even in her weakest moments, I have witnessed so much strength in her as a woman (and that isn’t just because she is a crazy CrossFit woman who can probably lift a car... or two). Bekah is one of those friends you know will never leave your side - which is why it’s only fitting she stand next to me on my big day. Andy and I are so blessed that Bekah will be singing during our ceremony!!

It was a mens bible study where I first met Jacob. In that season of life, we were both seeking a closer relationship with the Lord. It was without a doubt God’s will for the two of us to meet. We hit it off immediately and within weeks, we made the decision to host our own bible study on Friday nights. Since then, we have both found a partner who we will to spend the rest of our lives with. He is an incredibly talented artist. He makes time for his family, his friends, and his work. Jacob is already being used mightly in his circle of influence. I hope to be a friend to witness much of what God has planned for his life.

Kayley Montoya

My sweet friend, Kayley! The moment I met Kayley I knew that there was something incredible about her. The funny thing is, there are so many layers to that “incredible”. I continue to discover new things about Kayley that always feel like a breath of fresh air. She is the kindest and most patient friend I have ever known (she may get to practice these a lot being a teacher). Kayley and I share a very similar love for babies, music, writing.... and so much more. Kayley is a friend I can trust with absolutely anything and she comes with a lot of biblical wisdom so navigating through life comes easy with her. I am so excited that she will not only be standing next to me, but also will be giving a spoken word at our wedding!

“Wassup Homie!” There isn’t a person on the planet that makes me laugh more than Crystian. His personality is one of a kind. Not only is he hilarious, he is passionate. About everything he does. He’s a family man who deeply cares about people and deeply cares about sharing the gospel. Some of my favorite memories with Crystian include canoeing the green river in Utah and praying for people in the parks and malls of Colorado. He is someone I respect and look up to in the faith.

The friend who keeps me fun! Kailey always brings laughter into any room - whether it be by her crazy dance moves or her strange love for squirrels... everyone (including myself) always enjoys having her around. I had the blessing of living with Kailey leading up to her wedding in September of 2020 and we were able to share many amazing memories. Kailey’s love for Jesus is contagious. She is a friend who has had such a big impact in my spiritual walk and has created many life long memories with me around my faith. Our friendship is one I can’t imagine not having! Andy also happens to be besties with her hubby so we’ve been able to have a plethora of double date nights with MANY more to come!

I was eating food after a nighttime church service when I first met Joe. I remember thinking after my first conversation with him, “That guy was smart and very well put together.” A lot of times, I’ve had conversations with people and it was the first and last. Not because I wanted it that way, but because we never cross paths again. It wasn’t until a few months later that I had seen Joe again and when we talked, it was like nothing had changed. We talked about the Lord, business, and relationships. This guy is the kindest and most intentional person I know. He’s very empathetic and is someone I consider to be a great family man and friend.

Alex Ilkhani

Alex and I met in high school and shared SO many memories together that are unforgettable. We spent pretty much every single day together while I was in South Carolina and seemed to be the perfect pair. I still smile thinking about how much fun we had together - we used to take long car rides just to blast the music and drive around by the beach and... we never seemed to make it to school on time (or at all) no matter how “hard” we tried. The many vacations we’ve taken (and the many more to come) are unbeatable. Even though we are across the country... Alex is still one of the first people I call with pretty much anything. I can’t wait to have her standing next to me in my wedding!

There was a young adult church retreat that lasted 3 days one weekend back in September of 2019. My good friend Dillon Perkins decided to create a sign on a poster board inviting people to ride with him for the 2 hour drive to get there. Jay was the first person to sign the pasteboard and ironically, I didn’t hardly spend any time with either of them on that retreat. The following week, the Bible study that I was administering was having a retreat in the mountains and Jay asked if he could join us. He knew nobody in the group yet after that weekend, he was family. Now almost 2 years later, Jay and I have been roommates for a year and we’ve had the opportunity to share numerous priceless experiences together.

I met Jenna through Andy and I’s good friend Gabe (also one of Andys groomsmen). It was a year of Gabe telling both of us we “need to get together” before we actually were able to meet up. When we did we immediately clicked and probably saw each other 10 times that first week. She and I share a love for hikes and also have very similar personal story’s/lives. Over time, we have been able to help each other in many ways when it comes to business/health and I am so thankful for our friendship. I am so excited and blessed to have Jenna standing next to me on Andy and I’s big day!
