Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Victoria Ysaguirre and John Mikhael Ancheta
We're so excited to share some of our favorite things to do on the island. If you have time, check out these amazing places!

YogurStory

815 Ke’eaumoku Street, Honolulu, HI 96814
, (808) 942-0505

Breakfast, brunch, lunch - delicious food! John's go-to: Ube pancakes & Victoria's go-to: Oinker (fried rice).

Polynesian Cultural Center

55-370 Kamehameha Highway, Laie, HI 96762

Come support local students and learn about the different Polynesian cultures. ❤️

Kahiau Jerky Poke & Provisions

1164 Smith Street, Honolulu, HI 96817

Our go-to poke spot. Only open Wed-Sat from 10AM - 2PM. Get there early and get the Kahiau Special poke. Be sure to also grab a few bags of the thin beef jerky to take home. You'll regret only buying one bag! 😋

Island Vintage Coffee

HI

There are multiple locations so find one closest to you! (:

Adela’s Country Eatery

45-1151 Kamehameha Highway, Kaneohe, HI 96744

Best service and delicious food. Portions are huge, you can likely share with someone! Recommend calling in advance as they typically have a long wait. Their desserts are also a must!

Duke's Waikiki

2335 Kalākaua Avenue, Honolulu, HI 96815

Great for brunch (buffet style) and has a beautiful ocean view. Recommend putting in a reservation.

Lanikai Pillbox Trail

265 Kaelepulu Drive, Kailua, HI 96734

Hike with a beautiful view. This hike is considered a moderately challenging hike and parking can be tough to find.

Lanikai Beach

Kailua, HI 96734

Beautiful and kid friendly beach. Parking can be tough and it gets windy at times.

Waimea Bay Beach

North Shore, HI 96712

During summer, the water calms considerably and is a great destination for swimming, snorkeling and diving.

Kualoa Ranch

Kaneohe, HI 96744

Yes, this is our wedding venue but they also have fun activities to do such as bus tours, ATV, horseback riding, and zip-lining.

Ray's Kiawe Broiled Chicken

66-190 Kamehameha Highway, Haleiwa, HI 96712

Only opened certain days so make sure to check in advance. John's favorite and must have!

Hawaii Shark Encounters

66-105 Haleiwa Road, Haleiwa, HI 96712

For the brave souls! We did this during one of our trips and it was so much fun. Must book this activity in advance.

Aloha Stadium Swap Meet

99-500 Salt Lake Boulevard, Honolulu, HI 96818

Only opened certain days so check in advance! Must pay for parking (cash only).

Kai Coffee Hawaii at Alohilani Resort

2490 Kalākaua Avenue, Honolulu, HI 96815

Multiple locations so pick whatever is closest to you!

Foodland Farms Ala Moana

1450 Ala Moana Boulevard, Honolulu, HI 96814

Great for groceries and snacks!

Paia Fish Market Waikiki

2299 Kūhiō Avenue, Honolulu, HI 96815

Great food and an even better happy hour for drinks (daily 2-5PM). Our go-tos include fish tacos, calarami & chips and lilikoi margarita.

Hanauma Bay Nature Preserve

100 Hanauma Bay Road, Honolulu, HI 96825

Need to make a reservation in advance & purchase tickets.

Liko's Tap & Table

377 Keahole Street, Honolulu, HI 96825

Great food and view! Recommend checking this place out for lunch after visiting Hanauma Bay. John's pick: Lobster roll Victoria's pick: Loco moco

Waikiki Trolley Ticket Booth

2250 Kalākaua Avenue, Honolulu, HI 96815

If you're not planning on renting a car, a fun/affordable option might be to checkout the trolley service that they offer on the island. We personally have never tried it but Victoria's parents always have a great time and use it for every trip.

For all the days along the way
