What time should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony will begin punctually at 4:00pm. Please arrive no later than 3:45pm. If you plan to use the shuttle service from the Comfort Inn Hotel, please plan accordingly.

Can I bring a guest as a plus one?

Answer

We wish we could invite everyone we love, but due to space (and dance floor!) limits, we can only include the guests listed on your invitation. If the invite only has your name, then that invite is specifically for you. Thank you for understanding!

Can I bring my child or children?

Answer

We adore your kids, but due to space and logistics, our celebration will be adults-only, with the exception of a few children in the wedding party and close family. Thank you so much for understanding — we’re so excited to celebrate with you!

What is the attire?

Answer

To help make the day feel extra special, we kindly ask that guests wear formal attire (think suits and dresses). Please no jeans, sneakers, or casual clothing — thank you for helping us make the day beautiful!

When do I need to RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by the date listed on your invitation. Due to venue and catering timelines, any responses received after that date will be considered a decline — no exceptions. We truly appreciate your understanding and timely reply.

What if I have a dietary restriction or allergy?

PLEASE let us know if you have an allergy or restriction. We will try our very best to accomadate!

Is the venue indoor or outdoor?

Answer

The ceremony will be held in a partially enclosed barn. The cocktail hour will be outdoors in both a covered and open area. The reception will be completely inside with both air and heat depending on the outdoor temperature.

Is there parking?

Answer

There will be someone on-site directing you where to park. No vehicles may be left in the parking lot at The Barn at Glistening Pond overnight after the event. Please plan accordingly.

Are there hotel blocks at any local hotels?

Answer

Yes - hotel room blocks are booked at the Comfort Inn Tunkhannock. Please see the "travel" tab for more information. There are also other options, however, these do NOT have shuttle service or discounted rates.

Is there transportation?

Answer

We will offer a shuttle service from the Comfort Inn in Tunkhannock to The Barn at Glistening Pond, before the ceremony, and returning towards the end of the reception. Please indicate on your RSVP if you plan to use the shuttle!
