We’re getting married

Hi family and friends! We’re so happy you’re here! If you would’ve told us a few years ago that our story would begin on Catholic Match… we probably both would’ve laughed. Before Sarah’s annulment, there were a lot of unknowns, a lot of healing, and a whole lot of prayer. But once the annulment was approved, there was actually an incredible sense of peace. Through prayer, Jesus made it very clear: be still, trust Him, and wait for His perfect timing. Until one morning in prayer, she felt the Lord gently whisper, “Go now.” And that’s exactly what she did. Sarah activated her Catholic Match profile… and less than five minutes later, Miguel sent her a message fascinated by how close their profiles matched. Meanwhile, Miguel had actually been preparing to delete his account altogether. Just the day before, Miguel reached out to his friend, Tony, and told him that he was going to delete his account the next day. As Miguel wasn’t having much luck on the app. Sarah’s profile was the very first one he saw, and he heard the Lord say “what’s one more shot?” From the very beginning, our relationship felt different. What started as one simple message turned into hours of conversations, intentional prayer, nonstop laughing, deep friendship, and realizing we both loved Jesus at the center of everything. And honestly… the rest unfolded in ways only God could orchestrate. One of the most beautiful parts of our story has been watching our little family come together. Seeing Miguel step into loving Sarah’s two children with patience, gentleness, and joy has been such a gift. The kids absolutely adore him, and let’s just say they may be the most excited people at the wedding. Our relationship has been built on faith, redemption, grace, and lots of prayer… but also, coffee dates, late-night talks, dancing in the kitchen, and learning that God really does restore what we place in His hands. We can truly say that Jesus redeemed both of our stories and brought us together in a way we never could have planned ourselves.
