Travel
Cuenca, Ecuador sits at an elevation of 8,400 feet (2,560 m). We highly recommend any friends/family traveling from the states to arrive a couple of days early to acclimate to these new heights and prevent altitude sickness.
Carnaval in Ecuador is a vibrant and culturally rich festival celebrated annually, blending indigenous traditions with Catholic customs, marked by parades, water/foam fights, and colorful costumes.
Carnaval will take place the week before our wedding. If you have the time, we encourage you to come and experience the festivities with us. Carnaval will be February 4th-9th.
Flight
Aeropuerto Mariscal Lamar
The only airport in the city of Cuenca, Ecuador only has domestic flights. Your best bet is to travel to either Quito, Ecuador or Guayaquil, Ecuador and take a connecting flight to Cuenca, Ecuador.
Shuttle
