There are no hotels in Bahia de Los Sueños. The nearest hotels are in La Paz. There are only 3 large oceanfront villas in this private beach that are fully booked with our immediate family. Where can I stay close to the wedding venue and what are the rates?
Answer
We recommend looking into the beautiful resort of Puerta Cortes it’s the most luxury hotel in La Paz with decent rates, or Hyatt in La Paz. Hyatt has the most economical rates & a beautiful view of the bay when you ask for a room with a view. It also comes with a complimentary yummy breakfast every morning!

How many nights can you book if staying at Bahia de Los Sueños?
Answer
All couples sharing the ocean front villas have to all agree to book the same amount of nights since the entire house needs to be booked all together. The majority of people that are attending are doing 3 nights, check-in Friday check-out Monday. I suggest it should be a 3 night stay Friday-Monday no more & no less for now.. as the wedding day gets closer 60 days in advance, Gran Sueño opens up booking villas independently for extra nights, which is something we might do ourselves and something you can do too if you’d like to stay more days, otherwise I would also suggest staying in La Paz since theirs more to do & a-lot to see in such a cute lil beach town!

Will I have privacy if staying at a Villa?
Answer
Yes. All villas have all suites so therefore they all have their own restroom, so you will have your privacy as you would in a hotel room.

Do I need a passport to fly to La Paz Mexico?
Answer
Yes. You will need a passport, so we strongly suggest you start working on it if you don’t already have one. The turn around time to get your passport is approximately 3 months.

Children are welcome to attend, but kindly ensure their supervision throughout the event.

How do I get to the wedding venue if I stay in La Paz?
Answer
If you wish to be transported to the wedding venue and back and not have to worry about renting a car. We can arrange for transportation at $35 a person or $70 per couple round trip. Please reach out for more info.

Are there restaurants close by?
Answer
Centro de Trenes Restaurant is the only restaurant in Bahia de Los Sueños, they are open daily 10am - 6pm. There food is delicious you can read their reviews. You can also request for a private chef to come cook for you or your group in your house if you would prefer that, just let me know so I can help you coordinate that. I’d recommend everyone to stock up on any water, sodas or snacks in La Paz at any lil mini mart after you land and before you head to Bahia de Los Sueños, all homes have kitchens & refrigerators in case you’d like to cook yourself instead as well.

What do I wear?
Answer
The wedding will be an ALL WHITE wedding ONLY. Off white and ivory is ok. NO tan, NO beige, NO nude, NO champagne etc. Formal or dressy casual is recommended. Heels might need to come off during ceremony as the ceremony will be on the sand.
