To our most beloved family and friends, We want to start by thanking you for being in our lives and enriching us with such love and support. With heavy hearts, we would like to share with you that our wedding, scheduled for 5/23/2020, will be cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. As wonderful as it would have been to share and celebrate our special day with the people we love most in the world, we care about your safety and feel that it is no longer appropriate to host the event. We plan to still get married that weekend with our immediate families (will send photos!) and hopefully will have a celebration with you all down the road! From the bottom of our hearts, we extend our deepest gratitude to each and every one of you for making arrangements to celebrate with us. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and for whatever plans you may have to break because of this news. So many lives have been negatively affected by the COVID-19 pandemic and our hearts ache for them. With that said, in lieu of any wedding gifts, we ask that you consider assisting in the efforts to provide relief to those being seriously affected during these difficult times. Approximately 30 million children nationwide rely on free or reduced-priced school meals for their food. With the recent shutdown of schools, families are struggling to stay afloat and feed their children. Please consider making a donation to your local food bank, or contribute to programs like Feeding America, who has committed to bringing fresh produce to food pantries nationwide. Doing things for others, especially those who are the most vulnerable during these trying times, is truly the greatest gift you could give us.
